The Unfinished products are just that; unfinished. They're sanded ready for receiving the finish of your choice after installation, so you can literally create whatever colour and style of finish you want. Very popular in rooms with large staircases and other such features because the floor can be 'matched up' to them easily. Also popular for areas that may be subjected to some spillages because by finishing 'on-site' a 'seal' is achieved between each board, unlike with a prefinished product where only the surface of each single board is protected. This really is a 'blank canvass' ready for you to create something unique that no-one else has, or simply to match up with its surroundings. Can also be 'distressed' before being finished, which creates that 'old & used' appearance that some people want. It's your choice with this one.
